Claremore, Oklahoma — Sequoyah School's Native American Appreciation week takes place just before spring break. Jacob and Duvall return this year to share stories and books with the Elementary grades at this wonderful school. Besides learning about Cherokee animal stories, the kids will pass around Jacob's carved clay sculptures and Duvall's honeysuckle baskets. They will be the first school group to see and hear our new e-story book "Rabbit Goes to Kansas."

— Jacob and Duvall will appear at the Tulsa Rotary's Club's regular meeting at noon on Wednesday, June 14, presenting a 30-minute program on their collaborative work as author and illustrator. Plans for this presentation include video slide shows of Jacob's paintings and drawings, with a reading by Duvall. Signed copies of the Grandmother Stories and "Rabbit Plants the Forest" will be available for sale following the presentation.

On Saturday, June 24, at 1:30 pm, Duvall appears with Neicey Dunham and Joel Finch as Oklahoma Wildlife, with some great old standards and new originals. — Jacob and Duvall will open their booth at the 2006 Illinois River Balloon Fest on Friday evening, August 18, and all day Saturday, August 19. Books, paintings, pipes, sculptures, baskets are available along with NSU Bigfoots T-Shirts and a preview of Murv's T-shirt design for the 2006 Cherokee National Holiday. Duvall appears Saturday with musical group Oklahoma Wildlife, performing her original songs along with some of the band's great old rock standards.
